If you’re a real alcoholic, nothing short of a spiritual awakening will eliminate the obsession to drink.
And if anything but a divine intervention keeps you sober and clean, well then you were not a real alcoholic.
So AA defines an real alcoholic as one who gets better via a spiritual awaking. So what are the rest of us?
